How We Came Together

Our story, so far, has been 15 years in the making. We were wild, idealistic twenty-somethings who found each other in our first days in New York City. We filled our weeks together with mid-day coffees, happy hour tacos, and late night concerts.

Although we eventually left the East Village behind and went in separate directions—Brea for Upper Manhattan and Dan for Brooklyn—we never truly left each other.

And we found our way back to each other, as grounded thirty-somethings, during the pandemic.

Now, a decade and a half after we first met, we both are ready to make official what was unofficial so long ago.
